Things have been going smoothly in regards to Selene's upbringing. She's happy enough, spending time in her room enjoying the company of a strange doll someone left in our mailbox. She's very eager to learn, and has made great strides in learning to walk and talk. Mother is almost completely out of the picture now, as I had planned. She's become quite a social butterfly, always seeking my attention. One day I am of the belief everyone will come to adore her.
Should Selene ever stumble across these muses, I feel I must make one thing clear. My anger at my mother should not have overshadowed the wondrous event of your birth. I've grown quite fond of you, and will do all in my power to protect you, little sister. One day, our aspirations may mean nothing, and I would forever regret if in that moment we were not on good terms. If nothing else, we should have each other.
Selene is growing up fast, and I must focus on getting as much value out of this delicate time as possible. I can only hope it will help her in the future.
Until next time,
Dario
